1.19.2022 Wed morning self-reflection:
King Ecbert - "I have some words here from the Romans themselves. Athelstan helped me to translate them."
"Don't ask, we may never know, Leuconoe, what the Gods plan for you and me, leave the Chaldees to parse the sentence of the stars."
"Of expectation, life's short. Even while we talk, time, hateful, runs a mile. Don't trust tomorrow's bough for fruit, pluck this, here, now."

As i watch the Vikings series over and over again, this is one of my favorite quotes by King Ecbert translating Horace writings. Pandemic, Private companies and government's Red Tape and my Miserable Lovelife taught me not to trust tomorrow. Every important matter that can be done today SHOULD be done today. we may never know what will happen tomorrow.
Volcanoes can erupt, Covid or new Covid variants can emerge, Flights can be cancelled, lockdowns & power trippings of politicians can emerged suddenly, a powerful storm can suddenly appear, your coworker may get feeling lazy by tomorrow, or the President can suddenly declare a holiday.. we never know!
I don't know, Tomorrow is now very uncertain. it's just like a woman's fickle mind that can suddenly change by tomorrow without warning! leaving you hanging in the air and miserable.. hahaha..
so now, as a matter of personal belief, I Don't Trust Tomorrow! Every Important thing should be settled Today! Including Happiness!
