I just realized now that it’s been a long time since I wore ironed clothes…
9.14.2025 #onlinediary
I just realized now that it’s been a long time since I wore ironed clothes… feels like more than a year already that I haven’t experienced wearing clothes that were ironed.. hahaha
Guys who have a mom, girlfriend, or helper who irons for them are really lucky.
To compensate for this struggle, I just make sure to put Downy in every wash, and most of the clothes I buy are “iron-free” or “no-need-to-iron.” That’s why I really keep looking for where I can buy Adidas polo shirts that are Climalite or Climacool again.. they’re always out at SLEX or in SM.
I’m not so sure about online..
Because those Adidas Climalite or Climacool shirts are really perfect for single fathers.. just wash them, spin-dry, they dry quickly, and you can wear them without ironing. Super worth it even if they’re pricey. Nike is also good for T-shirts.. but their polo shirts still need ironing. So Climalite is really the best.
If you want to save money, the shirts from H&M, Bench, and Uniqlo are also okay — most are kind of semi-iron-free.
Now what i am looking are "plantsa free" pants.. Do you have any suggestion where to buy cici?
=====
Hey! Oo, may mga options ako for “plantsa-free” pants (no iron / wrinkle resistant) here in the Philippines + online. Eto mga suggestions + produkto na nakita ko:
š§ Things to consider / taga-check mo
-
wrinkle-resistant / wrinkle free
-
no-iron / no need to iron
-
easy care fabric
-
tech fabrics (polyester, blends na may spandex, quick dry)
-
“smart pants” na may stretch at breathable
š¬ Shops / Brands sa Pilipinas na may mga ganitong pants
Tindahan / Brand | Ano meron sila / good finds |
---|---|
Uniqlo PH | May “Wrinkle-resistant” pants sila. Halimbawa, yung Men’s Miracle Air Pants (Wool-like) na lightweight, sweat-wicking, and wrinkle-resistant para sa easy care. UNIQLO |
Lazada | May tag “wrinkle resistant pants,” “no-iron pants” at “no-need ironing needed.” So maraming mura’t budget friendly na option doon. Lazada Philippines+2Lazada Philippines+2 |
Kung may sale or discount, pwede mong makita yung “Traveler Pants” or chinos na may stretch. Banana Republic |
Here are some picks:
-
Uniqlo Smart Ankle Pants: Uniqlo – smart cut, usually may kaunting stretch, madaling alagaan.
-
-
Levi's XX Chino Standard Taper Tech Pants: Tech fabric, may "tech" sa name, ibig sabihin may special materyal para madaling pangalagaan.
-
Ron Tomson Tapered No‑Wrinkle Tech Pants: Madalang makita sa Pilipinas pero if imported yung bansa nila magaganda reviews niya.
-
Banana Republic Slim Wrinkle‑Resistant Dress Pants: Kung kailangan mo ng medyo dressy na but still hindi masyadong hassle.
-

Rep. Leviste: Lowering VAT to 10% should be top tax bill in 20th Congress
MANILA, Philippines – Batangas 1st District Representative Leandro Legarda Leviste has filed House Bill No. 4302 to lower the Value-Added Tax (VAT) to 10% and moved on Wednesday that this be at the top of the agenda of the Ways and Means Committee for the 20th Congress.
Leviste made the motion during a Ways and Means Committee hearing with the Department of Finance (DOF) on priority tax measures.
Leviste is vice chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, which handles the financial affairs of the national government, including taxation.
“I move that we put lowering the VAT at the top of the agenda of the Ways and Means Committee of the 20th Congress. In line with this, I have filed a bill to reduce the VAT to 10%, which could reduce VAT collections by P200 billion or an average of P7000 per household per year. How we will offset these foregone revenues can be the subject of further discussions, but we should have the options by our next meeting, and we should pass the bill lowering the VAT by the end of this year,” he said.
Leviste asked House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Miro Quimbo, “Mr. Chair, can we get your best effort that the Ways and Means Committee will pass a bill to lower the Value-Added Tax to 10% by the end of this year?
“You will have our super best effort,” Quimbo answered.
“Lowering the VAT is a more efficient way to give Filipinos more disposable income, increasing consumption and our country’s GDP, and I believe that the vast majority of our constituents will benefit from replacing Value-Added Taxes with more progressive measures,” Leviste added.
House Bill No. 4302 gives Congress flexibility on how to offset the foregone VAT revenues, and instead provides that the President, upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Finance, can decide on the implementation of the reduction in VAT based on the country’s deficit-to-GDP ratio.
