As a parent, and as an ROTC graduate, i fully support the mandatory ROTC for college students.. but i hope it is only 2 semesters like MS11 & MS12.. it will instill discipline and love for our country to our youths..and the additional reserve force for our armed forces.
Many developed countries like Israel, South Korea, and i think even Switzerland even have mandatory military service..
Of course, NPA front partylist will oppose to it.. because they want to recruit our naive children to join their rallies and go to the mountains and die a senseless death while their boss is living comfortably in Netherlands..Their terrorist organization is a multi-billion peso business mafia that's why they are still here even after 50 years..
To be honest, if you will read their history as per Sec Roberto Tiglao and Gen. Antonio Parlade's account, you will be really very impressed on how they managed to trive and survive in all these years, on how they infiltrated the government( via partylist), the media, and our Universities specially my beloved UP. They are genius and expert in mind manipulation. They were and they are, still very very brilliant..hats off to them..sadly, they used that brilliance to sow terror and poverty to our countryside.
They even managed to recruit and brainwashed a very beautiful Ms Sarah Elago to join their ranks and turn her into a hardcore.. as pretty as Ms. Sarah Elago, it she will ask me to join a rally beside her and curse the government, of course i will join her anytime! hahaha. I can even join her in the boondock if she will ask me nicely.. hehehe
Their playbook is to make our country sink in poverty, and chaos so they can achieve their main goal of toppling the government, and they will be the ones in power. At the expense of our children.
Lastly, as i said previously, i suggest that upper ROTC units like ms21 and above should be for officers only. Also ,I am against the reimposition of CAT in high school
