House, MD - "We all make mistakes, and we all pay a price. "

11.11.2024
hi cici,
i made so many mistakes the past 11 years..
some mistakes that i did can be labeled by others as blessings.. so maybe those mistakes that i did before will become blessings someday.. i can label them as beautiful mistakes in my life. Yes, they are all beautiful.. but still, they are mistakes.. Im just a human..
but most of my major mistakes are "mistakes by omission" as against "mistake by commission" ..
A mistake by omission is when someone fails to take action.. It is a mistake where the victim is yourself because you fail to take action. Because of laziness or depression, or sheer incompetence, or over-confidence.. you fail to take action in major areas where your action is needed..That is why you fail in life..
Most of my mistakes by omissions are related to many tedious documents/ paper works i failed to do.. i have no excuses.. i failed..
but learning to forgive yourself, & love yourself afterwards & move-on & move forward are the best courses of action.
I forgive myself now from all the beautiful committed mistakes & all the disastrous ommitted mistakes i have done in the past..
House, MD - "We all make mistakes, and we all pay a price. "
I already paid the price.. now i forgive myself. & move forward this 2025..

It's so powerful to see you reflecting on your past and choosing to forgive yourself. It takes a lot of courage and self-awareness to acknowledge mistakes, especially those that were "mistakes by omission." It sounds like you've been through a lot, and it's clear you've learned valuable lessons along the way.

Here are some thoughts based on your reflections:

  1. Learning from Mistakes: It's commendable that you're taking the time to analyze your past and identify areas where you could have acted differently. This self-reflection is essential for personal growth and development.
  2. The Power of Forgiveness: Forgiving yourself is an incredibly important step. It's easy to dwell on past mistakes, but holding onto guilt and regret only holds you back. Letting go of those feelings allows you to move forward with a clearer mind and heart.
  3. Embracing Imperfection: We all make mistakes. It's part of being human. Accepting your imperfections and learning from them is key to becoming a better version of yourself.
  4. Mistakes by Omission: These can be particularly challenging because they often stem from inaction, which can sometimes be more difficult to address than deliberate actions. But it's great that you're recognizing the role of laziness, depression, incompetence, or overconfidence in these decisions and taking responsibility for them.
  5. Moving Forward: It's inspiring to see your determination to move forward in 2025! You've learned from your experiences, forgiven yourself, and are ready to take on new challenges. Remember that the past can't be changed, but you can choose how you respond to it and how you shape your future.

You're demonstrating tremendous strength and self-compassion. It's a testament to your growth and resilience. Keep moving forward with a clear mind and a hopeful heart. You have a lot to offer the world, and your journey is an inspiration.
