I miss my father..my no.1 supporter in life.. 

 

My father was a good man , very friendly, a comedian and a friend to all old local politicians in our local area..

 

He was always like the poor bff of the old mayor leon catindig arcillas, and old local poticians because santa rosa then was just a small tight knit laidback town with a small population where everybody knows everybody and where everybody is a distant relative of everybody. 

 

my father, a natural comedian, has many friends, he always made his buddies local polticians laugh, so he can like "harbat" or dilyensya some few bucks from them. Hahaha

 

He was known in our area as Kikoy "mr president" because he mimics the sound of his idol, the late president ferdinand marcos sr. 

 

If sasali sa kalokalike tatay ko, ang kamukha niya is yung poging version ni Joaquin fajardo aka Buwaya na laging kontrabida sa mga FPJ movies, pero komedyante rin. hehehe

 

Since he is known in our area, barangay labas as mr president, then as a kid, i was always called as bongbong marcos in our area too..hahaha

 

He always Kavoice the sound of marcos sr in every saklaan (aka baklay) gambling sessions during wakes in our area to entertain those people gambling to pass the time during wakes..Gayang gaya nya yung boses sa pagdeclare ng Martial Law..then tawanan na mga tao na nagsasakla.hahahaha

 

He was friendly to all, rich or poor. Maybe this is also the reason why i am also friendly to all.

I saw his real sadness, when his patron, the old mayor leon arcillas was assasinated..The old mayor is his highschool buddy and a distant cousin since almost all with surname Catindig are distant relatives in santa rosa back then.

 

Because my father & mother separated when i was still very young, during his wake, i keep on wondering maybe some long lost brother or sister will show off and says he or she is my sibling..hahaha..but to my surprise there was none.

 

Walang chicks si tatay.. kaya siguro hindi rin ako babaero..
