I pity coach tim cone.. Though he is just a coach, He will surely bear the brunt , of the anger & bashes of Pinoy fans of the impending losses of our Asian games basketball team . We are the defending champion of Asian basketball for God's sake & yet SBP doesn't even give it much importance of this event that happens only every 4 years.
That is why i salute Alex Eala for choosing the Asian games.
I am a Filipino basketball fan but the current Gilas Pilipinas roster in Asian games don't stand a chance. Slow & aged as he is, Junmar Fajardo is still our best big man & can still dominate Asia, but he is nowhere. Kai Sotto is nowhere, Fiba Gilas boys are nowhere. It is basically our Basketball Team C.
I am sincerely hoping that i am wrong, but i think, we cannot defend our Gold medal in this event, unless maybe Justin Brownlee appears..
SBP underestimated the basketball team of our Asian brothers, or maybe as i said, they dont give a damn of this event.
In this time of crisis, this flood-raven & basketball country will surely be again in "sad mood" for sure, & coach tim will be the one to be bashed..
Hopefully, Alex Eala, Carlos Yulo & EJ Obiena will do the rescue & go for the gold!
Still, Good luck Gilas Pilipinas Team C, Good luck to my idol Adrian Nocum, please prove me wrong!
